Sandy O’Brien is a self-taught artist currently working in pastels and watercolors. Thirty years of painting experience and living in Minnesota, fishing and gardening, inspire her to paint lake scenes, wildlife, and flowers. She also has a special interest in animal and people portraits.

Sandy is the editor/coordinator for the Glacial Ridge Artists, a group of fifty artists located in West Central Minnesota. She is the curator to the Bremness Gallery on the grounds of the historic Ann Bickle House in Glenwood. Sandy also creates cartoon illustrations for the Horizontal Bowhunter Magazine, the official publication for the American Crossbow Federation.
